Open Gym

Open Gym is specifically designed for the BIPOC student-athlete who is interested in performing at their personal best in their high school sport. Our student-athlete mentees are high school-level football, basketball, baseball and soccer players. Every other Friday evening of the month, our student-athlete mentees gather together in a New York City gym to train and build physical endurance. They are trained by Cynergy Physical Therapy licensed Physical Therapists and qualified and certified volunteer coaches.

In addition to Open Gym, the mentees are invited to participate in OSA Foundation academic and educational workshops and seminars that will help them stay one step ahead of their peers. They are also invited to OSA Foundation workshops with a focus on personal health and wellness. These workshops and seminars discuss nutrition, exercise, and foundational principles of physical wellness.

If you know a BIPOC high school student-athlete who would benefit from OSA Foundation workshops, seminars and the Open Gym program, please get in touch with us at osafoundation@cynergypt.com.
